Sometimes the the most important feature of a fine handbell arrangement is the directness and simplicity of communication. This is a straightforward, musically intricate but technically simple arrangement of the amazing Gustav Host carol. What matters here is the beautiful music - yes, there are challenges, technically and musically, but ultimately what makes communication between ringers and listeners happen is something that is accessible and takes just a few rehearsals to put together. The 2-3 oct version and the 4-5 oct version are compatible for festival and multiple choir situations.
