License terms for handbell music published by another publisher and distributed by Sonology Music

(SoundForth Music, Tinnio Ergo Sum Press - marked as [PUBLISHER] below)

Group license

The Purchaser is defined as one who buys the [PUBLISHER] music for use in his/her individual handbell program.

  1. [PUBLISHER] retains all copyrights, domestic and international, to the [PUBLISHER] music, including rights to license sheet music and to administer mechanical and recording licenses.
  2. Sonology Music group licensing grants permission for Purchaser to make a specific number of copies, generally 15, of each [PUBLISHER] title purchased. The number of copies permitted appears in the copyright notice on the first page of each title. Purchaser will label the copies of music with the number of the copy (i.e. Copy  5  of 15).
  3. Purchaser agrees to make copies for use in his/her handbell program ONLY. Transference, loan, or resale of [PUBLISHER] music to individuals or organizations outside of Purchaser’s handbell program is a violation of the licensing agreement and subject to prosecution. (A copy of the licensing agreement must be kept with every copy.)
  4. Purchaser may use the [PUBLISHER] music indefinitely in his/her individual handbell program. However, [PUBLISHER] reserves the right to put any [PUBLISHER] title out of print at any time, and [PUBLISHER] and Sonology Music reserve the right to end distribution agreements concerning [PUBLISHER] titles.
  5. Replacement copies to replace lost music or music damaged through normal use may be made by Purchaser at any time, not to exceed the total number of copies indicated in the copyright notice of each piece. Replacement originals are available only through purchase from Sonology Music.
  6. By purchasing [PUBLISHER] music from Sonology Music, Purchaser automatically agrees to this licensing agreement in its entirety.
