Love Divine (2 octaves handbells)

LOVE DIVINE – arr. Judy Endean – 2 octaves handbells – Level II+

This arrangement of the hymn-tune BEECHER can be a great piece to encourage your Level II choirs to move on to more difficult music. To make the piece easier, the director may need to reassign some bells out of their normal playing position. Scattered sixteenth-note turns suggest a Level III- rating, but mostly this piece is a solid Level II. With a character marking of “unhurried,” it is sure to be a peaceful moment in the service.
