Summer Storm (4-7 octave handbells)

SUMMER STORM – Scott Pfitzinger – 4-7 octave handbells – Level V

Summer Storm is a very non-traditional piece that uses graphic notation and a variety of techniques to paint a musical picture of a storm in the summertime, from the beginning raindrops through a thunderstorm, and then tapering off at the end. A bit more dissonant than most handbell pieces, it is a joy and challenge to play, and has been well received at National Seminar!
