1. WILLIWAW (FROM THE WIND SUITE FOR HANDBELLS) – Scott Pfitzinger – 3-5 octaves handbells – Level IV
A creative new suite by Scott Pfitzinger, the Wind Suite for Handbells is a handbell suite where each movement is based on a different wind from somewhere in the world, not only creating a musical picture of the wind, but also conveying the images and cultures of the places where each wind lives. Set for 3 to 6 octaves of handbells, the levels range from 2 to 5 and the entire suite can be played in about 15 minutes.
1. Williwaw – A musical representation of the wind that is called Williwaw: A sudden, erratic, violent gust of cold land air that descends from coastal mountaintops down to the sea, accelerated by gravity.
