AN AULD ENGLISH CHRISTMAS – I SAW THREE SHIPS & GOD REST YOU MERRY, arranged by Linda R. Lamb for Handbell Quintet

Originally written for a family of ringers, this quintet combines two favorite Christmas carols, beginning with I Saw Three Ships with a playful and lilting Celtic accompaniment, then moving into a more chordal treatment of God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen with a few percussive techniques throughout to fit with the light feel of the first carol.
