ONCE IN ROYAL DAVID’S CITY – IRBY, arranged by Dillon Ekle for Handbell Trio

This arrangement takes the traditional English carol and puts an upbeat spin on it to brighten the holidays! Written for the Forté Handbell Quartet while it was down a member, this exciting and challenging trio can be played on 5 or 7 octaves of handbells. Some duplicates will be helpful in the 4s so that Ringers 2 and 3 can each set up their bells in a way conducive to clean malleting of their parts.
