GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN – Spiritual/arr. DWMorgan – brass quintet – Level 3+

An arrangement of the traditional spiritual for brass quintet. This quintet is usable for a musical worship offering or is suitable for community or school groups. This arrangement begins with the melody stated in solo and duets throughout the ensemble followed by a gospel-style ensemble with an independent tuba bass part, horn and trombone on middle voice accompaniment and the trumpets on the melody and harmony. The arrangement begins in F Major modulating to G Major which will require the Bb Trumpets to play in A Major.
