This handbell quartet adaptation of the St. Olaf Choir’s signature song aims to mirror the timbres of the choral setting. Handchimes are used where the chorus would be humming and handbells are introduced first as a solo melody line and then for the whole ensemble on the final, triumphant verse. Opportunities to stretch your ensemble’s musicality and expression abound in this fairly straightforward arrangement. Add more ringers to make it even more accessible if desired.

Note: this product includes several options to fit your program. There are two files that will be appear in your download queue upon completion of your purchase – one is in the original key which covers a five octave range of handbells and handchimes, and the other is transposed to fit into a three octave range. Each file also includes a version for handbells only in case no handchimes are available. Simply choose the version that works best for your program and print that one.
