WE HAVE MET TO WORSHIP – HOLY MANNA & FOUNDATION, arranged by Kevin McChesney for Unaccompanied Handbell Duet, Trio, or Quartet

The tunes Holy Manna (Brethren, We Have Met to Worship) and Foundation, both based on American folk melody, are cleverly paired in this setting. Assignment suggestions for twelve bells are offered for duet, trio, or for quartet. The duet version offers the greatest challenge, technically, using four-in-hand and rapid changes, or using handbell trees. The trio version uses one four-in-hand pair throughout for each assignment. In the quartet version, ringers 3 and 4 split the bottom staff.
