BALLADE – Kevin McChesney – handbell solo with keyboard accompaniment
An original composition effectively adapted from an earlier guitar and recorder duet. Legato line and potential four-in-hand usage are some of the technical challenges. A fairly lengthy work, use in worship as an anthem – especially one which celebrates children.
