Some music is lasting simply because it says something beautifully and directly, touching something deep within us. Sarabande is uncluttered music, honest and direct in its speech, and is utterly lovely. Suitable for a prayerful time in worship or for use in concert, there are a number of options including use of a Bb or C instrument and a simplified version for less experienced choirs not wishing to include the ornamentation. Handchimes could also be used. This is strong, expressive music that takes very little rehearsal time to create something wonderful.
