This is an energetic setting of the traditional tune with a new twist – in 7/8 time! Mallets give this handbell arrangement its fire and drive. The middle section uses Sing We Now of Christmas. This one rocks! Guaranteed to bring down the house!
May be played using handbells alone, or handbells and orchestra. An optional keyboard part is included which doubles the strings or could be used to replace the strings if they are not available. This orchestration does not stand alone – it is for use with the handbell score published by Jeffers Handbell Supply, JHS9329. Orchestra score and all parts with permission to make the necessary copies are included here.
